We take food very seriously at Northern Lights Manchester.
At our Christmas Village, we’ve banished the dry burger and the limp chip. All our street food is of exceptional quality, fresh and utterly indulgent. Here you will find popular classics alongside more creative menu options, with many exotic toppings, sides and relishes.
OUR CHRISTMAS 2025 TRADERS:
🦆 Duck & Roll – their signature slow-cooked duck is grilled until perfectly crisp, glazed with hoisin, and served across a menu designed to impress – from wraps and bao buns to loaded duck fries and our popular plant-based bang bang cauliflower.
🌭 The Sausage Factory – you cannot get anything more festive than a traditional bratwurst at Christmas! We’ve got some gorgeous different options lined up including Frankfurters, Spicy Wild Boar, Currywurst and of course, our proper local Bury Black Pudding Sausage.
🍕 Epic Woodfired Pizzas – and we mean EPIC. Build your dream pizza from their amazing range of toppings, or keep it classic — it’s all fire-kissed perfection. Vegan, gluten-free and halal options available, because epic should be for everyone.
🍟 Super Savoury Fry Guys – this is no ordinary chippy. Born in lockdown from our back garden providing quality food for the Salford community, these guys make the most insane food and they’ve made an incredible Christmas Menu just for us 😏
🍔 Gamekeepers Burgers – oh deer, we told you there would be no boring burgers 😉 these burgers are made from 100% venison, ethically and environmentally sourced and SERIOUSLY tasty. Load yours up with bacon, cheese, or go vegan with their Symplicity Vegan Burger.
🥪 God Save the Toasties – expect alllll the trimmings with this lot! We’re talking toasted sourdough, loaded with cheddar, brie, turkey, stuffing & smudged with cranberry sauce – and that’s just their first toastie, never mind the other 6 different ones on offer this Christmas.
🍩 Super Sweet Fry Guys – the Salford based food geniuses have knocked it out of the park. We’re talking Terry’s Chocolate Orange Churros; Battered Mince Pies with Boozy Cream; Manchester Tart Donuts; and Hot Chocolate with the award winning Salford Rum with a Tunnock Marshmallow Snowball on top just for good measure.
🧇 Waffle Wands – waffles done your way. These delicious wands are convinently made for walking round a trail with, and you can choose your toppings such as Belgian Chocolate, white chocolate, Biscoff sauce, crushed Oreos, smarties, sprinkles, fudge and raspberry crumb to name a few.
THE BEES KNEES TAVERN
At the heart of our Christmas Village will be our very own Alpine, heated bar for you to take a pit stop at. The Bees Knees will be serving a range of alcoholic and soft drinks, as well as the classic mulled wine.
It’s a great place for you to have a rest, have a pint and share memories with your loved ones.
